Mr. Garcia,
I became concerned with the proposed uranium mining after attending a meeting here in Fort
Collins. I became very concerned after one of the community writers for the Coloradoan
reminded us about the ash we had here from Mt. St. Helens years ago - we are only ten
miles away from this proposed mine.
I have a hard time trusting an industry that has the kind of history I'm reading about:

There are worthy endeavors in life and there are unworthy endeavors in life - guess which
catagory I've got this one in. Please do the right thing and protect us from a foreign
company that could care less about trashing our home.

Subject: STOP Uranium mining in N. CO
Dear Mr. Garcia,
My family and I recently moved our small business from Seattle, WA to northern Colorado
because we were attracted by the quality of life here. However, had we known about the
potential of uranium mining in the area, we might never have moved. Now that we are here,
I do not want to subject my family or my employees to the potentially harmful effects of
living near a uranium mine.
I am VERY concerned about the potentially severe impacts the proposed uranium mine near
Nunn, Colorado will have on our land, water, and health. As my representative, I ask that
you do everything in your power to stop this project.
Thank You.
