RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, CUP #34 - TIM AND SHEILA
ROSSOW
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated May 8, 1978,the Board approved Conditional Use Permit
#34 for Horse Stables and a Single Family Residence in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, for
Robert Meddles, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the West Section line of
Section 15,Township 1 North, Range 68 West,which
is 3,305.44 feet north of the Southwest corner of
Section 15; thence north along the west Section line
661.13 feet; thence south 89' 59' E 2,689.03 feet;
thence south 44'24'E, 7.58 feet; thence south
0'13'52" W, 660.23 feet; thence north 89'53'15" W,
2,692.34 feet to the point of beginning. Except the
west 30 feet. All being in Section 15, Township 1
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owners, Tim and
Sheila Rossow, 3690 Weld County Road 7, Erie, Colorado 80516, to vacate said Conditional Use
Permit#34, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Conditional Use Permit#34 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of CUP-34
March 26, 2007
Tim and Sheila Rossow have requested a vacation of Conditional Use Permit, CUP-34, for a
training stable and single-family residence located approximately 1 mile west of Interstate 25
and south of County Road 10.
This permit was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 8, 1978 for Robert
and Janet Meddles, original owners of the property.
The site is located in part of the northwest quarter of Section 15, Township 1 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
The Department of Planning Services, on behalf of Tim and Sheila Rossow, the current
property owners, is recommending this land use permit to be vacated. The letter requesting
vacation of CUP-34 is attached.
