RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMMISSIONER TO
CONVEY PROPERTY:
Commissioner Ford offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, a deed dated December 3, 1936, signed by J.
Edward Smith, and recorded in Book 1002 at page 3$9 of the official
records of Weld County, conveyed to Weld County, Colorado a tract of
land described as follows:
"About four-tenths (4/10) of an afire, being only that t of the
Southeast Quarter (SEE) of the Southwest Quarter (SWi) of Section
Twenty-one (21), Township Three (3) North, Range Sixty—seven (67)
West of tie 6th P.M., lying South and East of the present Union
Pacific Railroad Company's right of way.
and,
WHEREAS, said des&-iption is in error, and,
WHEREAS, a deed conveying to Weld County the correctly
described land has been recorded in Book 1004 at page 239, official
records of Weld County, and,
WHEREAS, the owner of the incorrectly described land
has requested that Weld County issue a deed conveying to him the said
property to clear the title to his property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered
that Harlan C. Strong is hereby constituted and appointed as Commissioner
of Wild County, Colorado to make a conveyance, by quit claim deed, of said
property, as aforesaid, to t• are„ent owner or owners thereof, which
said property is more particularly described as follows, to wit:
About four—tenths (4/10) of an acre, being only that part of the Southeast
quarter (SE ) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ) of Section Twenty—one (21) ,
Township Three (3) North, Range 'i.xty—sever- (G7) .ost of the 6th P.M.,
lying South and east of the present Union Pacific Railroad Company's
right of way.
IT 13 FURTHER ORDERED that to such conveyance, the said
Harlan C. Strong is authorized to a ' 'ix the seal o'" said County and said
conveyance, when executed according to this orc'er, ::hall h-:ve ti-c effect
to transfer to the present owner or owners all right, title acrid interest
which. rield County has in and to the above described property.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Riggs and the
