RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE V3000 ANALOG IP TELEPHONY
SYSTEMS BID - NORTH RANGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for the V3000 Analog IP Telephony Systems Bid for the North Range Behavioral Health
Building, Bid Request No. B0700160, due to the need to immediately install said telephony
systems, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day
waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the V3000 Analog IP Telephony Systems Bid
for the North Range Behavioral Health Building, Bid Request No. B0700160 be, and hereby is,
waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Inpath Devices be, and
hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 7th day of November , A.D., 2007.

Bid was sent out needing a 3COM phone system that was compatible with what they have
now. The bid requirement was for the vendor to demonstrate their ability to do the
installation as well as the maintenance on the 3COM telephone system.
North Range Behavioral Health recommends acceptance of the low bid from Inpath Devices
in the amount of$63,616.00.
