RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Cornelia Dietz be appointed to said committee
as the Mental Health representative, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Bonnie Veik be reappointed and reassigned to
said committee as the Senior Citizen representative, that Tom Denning be reappointed to said
committee as the Parent Policy representative,and that John Lee be reappointed to said committee
as the City of Greeley representative, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Cornelia Dietz to said board, with a
term effective January 15,2007,through December31,2009;to reappoint and reassign Bonnie Veik
with a term effective December 31,2005,through December 31, 2008;to reappoint Tom Denning
with a term effective December 31,2004,through December 31,2007;and to reappoint John Lee
with a term effective December 31, 2004, through December 31, 2007.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Cornelia Dietz be, and hereby is, appointed to the Human Services
Committee, with a term effective January 15, 2007, through December 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Bonnie Veik be reappointed and
reassigned to the Human Services Committee with a term effective December 31, 2005 , through
December31, 2008; that Tom Denning be reappointed with a term effective December 31, 2004,
through December31,2007;and thatJohn Lee be reappointed with a term effective December 31,
2004, through December 31, 2007.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
