FOR AN OIL AND GAS SUPPORT AND SERVICE FACILITY (A HYDRO-STATIC OIL
PRESSURE TESTING BUSINESS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
SOUTHGATE, INC.
A public hearing was conducted on November 7, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem
Commissioner William F. Garcia
Commissioner Robert D. Masden - EXCUSED
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher
Also present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 7, 2007, and duly published
September 12, 2007, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted on September 26,
2007, to consider the request of Southgate, Inc., for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by
Special Review Permit #1620 for an Oil and Gas Support and Service Facility (a hydro-static oil
pressure testing business) in the A(Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing, at the request of
the applicant, the Board deemed it advisable to continue the matter to November 7, 2007,
at 10:00 a.m. On November 7, 2007, Cyndy Giauque, Assistant County Attorney, made this a
matter of record. Hannah Hippely, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant has
submitted a written request, marked Exhibit H, to withdraw the application. Chair Long stated
typically the applicant is afforded the opportunity to continue the matter when only four
Commissioners are present; however, due to the request for a withdrawal, that is not necessary.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Garcia moved to accept the request of Southgate, Inc., to withdraw the request for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1620 for an Oil and Gas
Support and Service Facility (a hydro-static oil pressure testing business) in the A (Agricultural)
Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Rademacher, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
