RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bruce Fitzgerald be reappointed to said board
as the Commissioner District 3 regular member representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jerry Neff be appointed to said board as the
Commissioner District 2 regular member representative,to replace Chad Auer; and that Benjamin
Hansford be appointed to said board as an at-large regular member representative,to replace Tony
Evans;and that William Gillard be appointed to said board as an associate member representative,
to replace Thomas Honn, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Bruce Fitzgerald to said board,with
a term to expire July 31, 2010, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jerry Neff to said board, with a term
to expire July 31, 2009, and to appoint Benjamin Hansford and William Gillard to said board, with
terms to expire July 31, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Bruce Fitzgerald be,and hereby is,reappointed to the Board of Adjustment,
with a term to expire July 31, 2010, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jerry Neff be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Adjustment, with a term to
expire July 31, 2009, and that Benjamin Hansford and William Gillard be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Board of Adjustment, with terms to expire July 31, 2010.
