Home My WebLink About20071783.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO JUNE 25, 2007 TAPE #2007-18 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, June 25, 2007, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Acting Chair Pro-Tern and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner David E. Long, Chair- EXCUSED Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem - EXCUSED Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Acting Chair Pro-Tem Commissioner William F. Garcia Commissioner Douglas Rademacher Also present: County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Elizabeth Strong Controller, Barb Connolly MINUTES: Commissioner Rademacher moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of May 30, 2007, as printed. Commissioner Garcia seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCYSHELTER GRANT ASSISTANCE 2007 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Tom Texeira, Director of the Greeley-Weld County Housing Authority,stated the grant is in the amount of$56,992.00,from the Department of Local Affairs, and will be distributed among the four shelters in Weld County. He stated the Department acts as the administrator for the grant and receives a fee for performing the service. Commissioner Rademacher moved to approve said contract and authorize Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Garcia, the motion carried unanimously.
