RE: Request for Consent to Assign Oil & Gas Lease
Section 10-T4N—R67W, Weld County, CO
Gentlemen:
The Oil and Gas Lease from Weld County dated December 10, 1986, recorded at Book
1160, reception No. 2103882 covering approximately 13.532 acres in the E/2 SE/4 and
0.27 acres in the SE/4 NE/4 of Section 10—T4N—R67W, Weld County, CO, contained a
"consent to assign" provision.
EXCO Resources, Inc. has entered into an agreement to sell its interest the oil and gas
leases covering the described lands to Petroleum Development Corporation effective
October 1, 2006. EXCO Resources, Inc. respectfully requests that you consent to the
assignment of the lease to Petroleum Development Corporation either by executing and
returning one copy of this letter to EXCO or by an appropriate letter.
