RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME TO SUNNY COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS,the County has determined that certain equipment, as described in Exhibit A,
a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County
use, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve
the sale of said equipment to Sunny Communications, Inc.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that sale of said equipment to Sunny
Communications, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of July, A.D., 2007.

SUBJECT: Surplus Equipment at 35th Avenue Tower Site
In an effort to clean up the backup Dispatch Center located at the 35th
Avenue Tower, I met with Andy Bellendir of Wireless Advanced
Communications and David Sungelo of Sunny Communications in early June
2007 to determine what value, if any, the surplus equipment at the 35th
Avenue Tower has.
Mr. Sungelo identified those items with a value and has provided a quote to
purchase this surplus equipment. Sunny Communications has also offered to
haul off the other surplus equipment for no charge.
After the meeting with Mr. Sungelo, Rod Woods and I inventoried the
remaining equipment that Sunny Communications did not want. I have
provided a list of the equipment and request that Don Warden or the Weld
County Board of Commissioners give their approval to dispose of this
equipment. I would also like to have authorization to have Sunny
Communications remove all of the no-value surplus equipment from this
location as well.
There is also quite a bit of miscellaneous aluminum (dishes and antennas) and
wiring that I will be contacting Anderson Salvage to get a quote to remove
and salvage this equipment. I would like to get permission to complete this
task as well.
