Dear Commissioner Kirby:
Please find enclosed Resolution R-80- 27 , which increases
fees at the Longmont Municipal Landfill located in Weld
County. I trust the adoption of the increased fee
schedule by the Longmont City Council is indicative of
the cooperative approach that we mutually seek between
the City of Longmont and Weld County Commissioners .

FEES FOR DISCHARGING WASTE MATERIA t ���.1 O.
AT THE MUNICIPAL LANDFILL AND co-
ESTABLISHING TIME OF OPERATION ygEO-Ct
FOR SAID LANDFILL
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the City Department of
Public Works it is now deemed advisable to increase the fees for
use of the Municipal Landfill,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LONGMONT, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1
SCHEDULE OF DUMPING FEES :
(1) Truck, Compacted $1 . 35 per cubic yard
*(2) Truck, Uncompacted $1 .00 per cubic yard
*(3) Pickups and Vans $4.00 each
*(4) Pickups with side boards $5 .00 each
*(5) Two-wheel Car Trailer $4 . 00 each
*(6) Four-wheel Car Trailer $6 .00 each
*(7) Station Wagon $2 . 75 each
*(8) Automobile $$$1 . 75 each
(9) Appliances 4 $2 .00 each
(10) Automobile Tires $0 . 60 each
(11) Truck and Tractor Tires $1 . 50 each
(12) Liquid Wastes (nontoxic) $0 .05 per gallon
*In addition to the fees imposed on vehicles included under
this Section 1, Items 2 through 8 , an additional surcharge of
100% will be added to the basic dumping fee for all uncovered
and/or unsecured loads .
Holders of residential electric accounts ; who are permitted
use of the landfill at no charge for disposal of residential
refuse, will be subject to the above surcharges for uncovered
loads set forth in this Section 1 .
Section 2
TIME OF OPERATION OF THE MUNICIPAL LANDFILL
Weather permitting, the Municipal Landfill shall be open
from 8 : 00 A.M. to 4: 30 P .M. from Monday through Saturday , EXCEPT
the following holidays :
(1) New Year' s Day
(2) Memorial Day
(3) Independence Day
(4) Labor Day
(5) Veteran' s Day
(6) Thanksgiving Day
(7) Christmas Day
Inclement weather, including high winds , may cause the
landfill to be closed during periods of otherwise regular
operation.

Section 3
The effective date of this resolution shall be July 21 ,
1980 .
Adopted this 8th day of July , 1980 .
