RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY
BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Phillip Tiffany be reappointed to said board as
the Fire Zone A representative, and that Mark Lawley be reappointed to said board as the Fire
Zone C representative, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Gary Barbour be appointed to said board as the
Police Zone 4 representative,to replace Tom Davis,and that Tim Zimmerman be appointed to said
board as the Fire Zone B representative, to replace Jerry Ward, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Phillip Tiffany and Mark Lawley to said
board, with terms to expire December 31, 2009, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Gary Barbour and Tim Zimmerman to
said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2008, and December 31, 2009, respectively.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Phillip Tiffany and Mark Lawley be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Regional Communications Advisory Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Gary Barbour and Tim Zimmerman be,and
hereby are, appointed to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with terms to expire
December 31, 2008, and December 31, 2009, respectively.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2007.
