Home My WebLink About20071323.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE ROCKPORTGRADERSHEDAS SURPLUS PROPERTY,ANDAUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME TO DENNY MEISTER WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS,the County has determined that the Rockport Grader Shed, a structural steel shed located at 13626 Weld County Road 126, Rockport,Colorado 80612, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from Denny Meister, P.O. Box 22, Carr, Colorado 80612, to buy said grader shed for, and in consideration of, the sum of$125.00, and WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to declare said grader shed as surplus and approve said proposal. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned grader shed be, and hereby is, declared surplus. We received no bids. Today, I received a bid from Denny Meister for$125.00. He will disassemble and remove the shed from the premises. I recommend the Board accept this bid.
