We feel that housing developments are coming in from all directions and we do not feel that a • business of this type would be an asset in a housing development. We also feel that this would devalue our property. Most storage units turn into storage junk yards and are very unattractive. Are they planning on paving the entire storage area? That will be very costly to them. If they don't pave it, it will be a weed patch. This does not fit in with the surrounding area at all. It is a quiet,rural neighborhood with no business buildings around. Can see it being a real eyesore for the area. 2. We are concerned about lighting for this area. There's a good chance We would have lights shining into the bedroom window at night. We don't need a lighted"beacon"in this area. • 3. They may start out with good intentions but with time I have never seen a storage facility such as this one that doesn't look junky. We have no guarantees at all that this area would be maintained to a decent degree. The owners of this facility don't even live in this area so don't know how they can make sure of it's upkeep. 4. Security is an issue. This facility would bring a lot of unknown strangers into the area with their access to the storage. Some of these areas have a tendency to be broken into. We don't want that type of activity starting in the neighborhood. We are basically against this proposed storage facility. Thank you for your time.
