RE: APPROVE JULY 13, 1983, AS DATE SET FOR HEARING CONCERNING
PROPOSED PAWNEE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, in a public meeting held on the 13th day of June, 1983 ,
accepted a service plan to create a fire protection district with-
in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has set the public hearing for July 13, 1983 at 2 : 00
P.M. to be held in the First Floor Hearing Room, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado, to con-
sider the proposed fire protection district, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners will hear the
testimony of the owners of real property to be assessed for said
fire protection district and shall make a determination therefrom.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the public hearing to
consider said fire protection district will be held on July 13 ,
1983 at 2 : 00 P.M. in the First Floor Hearing Room, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
June, 1983.
