RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1602 FOR AN
AGRICULTURAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT, INCLUDING A LIVESTOCK
CONFINEMENT OPERATION (DAIRY FOR A TOTAL OF 4,500 CATTLE, INCLUDING
MILKING COWS AND DRY COWS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
BRAD AND SCOTT COCKROFT DAIRY, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 30th day of
May, 2007, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the
application of Brad and Scott Cockroft Dairy, LLC, 27906 Weld County Road 388, Kersey,
Colorado 80644, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1602
for an Agricultural Service Establishment, including a Livestock Confinement Operation (dairy for
a total of 4,500 cattle, including milking cows and dry cows) in the A(Agricultural) Zone District, on
the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot A of Amended Recorded Exemption#178; being
part of Section 11, Township 6 North, Range 64
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow
the applicant and staff adequate time to clarify issues and questions raised by the Board.
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to July 11, 2007, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to July 11, 2007,
at 10:00 a.m.
