RE: APPOINTMENT OF MIRIAM MARSHALL TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES
COMMISSION AND REASSIGNMENT OF DONNA WRIGHT
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Placement Alter-
natives Commission for the public sector, and
WHEREAS , the Placement Alternatives Commission has recommended
that the Board appoint Miriam Marshall to represent the public
sector, specifically an agency that specializes in employment and
training of youth, and
WHEREAS , the Placement Alternatives Commission has further
recommended that Donna Wright be reassigned to represent the
private sector due to a change in her employment, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to approve said recommendations of the Placement Alternatives
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Miriam Marshall be, and
hereby is, appointed to serve on the Placement Alternatives Com-
mission representing the public sector.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Donna Wright be,
and hereby is, reassigned to represent the public sector.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of
February, A.D. , 1984 .

RE: PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION APPOINTMENT
Dear Mr. Carlson:
As Chairman of the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission I am recommending
Ms. Marian Marshall as a new appointment to the PAC.
Ms. Donna Wright will change from public to private representative due to a
change in employment. She wishes to remain on the Commission as a citizen
representative.
Ms. Marshall will be representing the public sector, specifically an agency that
specialized in employment and training of youth.
As you know, the membership of the PAC must be at least 50% private and must
represent certain agencies or fields. With the appointment of Ms. Marshall the
Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission will be in compliance with Senate
Bill 26.
