RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, Section 13-8-(1 ) of the Weld County Home Rule
Charter states that the Weld County Council shall set the salaries
of all elected officials; and furthermore, in the case of County
Commissioners, the Charter provides for a delay in the effective
date of said salary increases so as to provide for equal compensation
of all Commissioners at all times; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by a unanimous vote
agreed that the salaries of the Weld County Commissioners should be
set at $28,000 for 1987 and 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County
Commissioners shall be paid $28,000 for the years 1987 and 1988, with
said salary to take effect on the first working day of 1987.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on Motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of April ,
1984.
