On May 24, 2006, Broomfield Urban Renewal Authority ("BURA") brought this action as a condemnation action under the authority vested in it under C.R.S. § 31-25- 101, et seq. and C.R.S. § 38-1-101, et seq. 2. In this matter the Petitioner Broomfield Urban Renewal Authority alleges that Defendant CDOT may have an interest in the subject property as a purported owner as to a portion of the subject property. And that Petitioner will take the property subject to the interests of CDOT. 3. On August 31, 2006, the Court ordered that all the parties file written status reports. CDOT's first Status Report was filed on November 7, 2007. 4. Counsel for BURA and CDOT have discussed entering into a stipulation that sets forth CDOT's interests and the nature of its participation in the proceedings, but that agreement has not been completed yet.
