A regular meeting of the Weld County Planning Commission was held in the Weld County Department of
Planning Services, Hearing Room, 918 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado. The meeting was called to order by
Vice Chair, Doug Ochsner, at 1:30 p.m.

Also Present: Tom Honn, Kim Ogle, and Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services; Don Carroll,
Department of Public Works; Char Davis, Department of Environmental Health; Bruce Barker, County
Attorney; and Donita May, Secretary.
Tom Honn, Director of Planning, stepped forward to recognize the three outgoing Planning Commissioners;
Chad Auer, Bruce Fitzgerald and James Welch, and presented each a plaque representing their individual
years of service. Mr. Fitzgerald said he had thoroughly enjoyed his time spent on the Planning Commission
and the friendships he had made; he had enjoyed the cases, both the easy and the difficult;and his years had
been interesting and he had gained a greater knowledge of the entire process.
The summary of the last regular meeting of the Weld County Planning Commission held on July 17,2007,was
approved as read. Commissioner Branham moved and Commissioner Holton seconded the approval of the
minutes. Motion carried.
The Vice Chair opened the floor to nominations for a new Chair. Commissioner Branham nominated
Commissioner Ochsner. Commissioner Ochsner was approved as Chair by acclamation. Commissioner
Ehrlich nominated for Vice Chair. Commissioner Holton was approved as Vice Chair by acclamation.

CASE NUMBER: PZ-1129
APPLICANT: Chris Serbousek

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot A of RE-4545; located in part of the E2SW4 of
Section 32, T7N, R67W of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado.
REQUEST: A change of zone from A(Agricultural) to PUD for eight
(8) residential lots for E (Estate) uses along with 7.071
acres of open space.
LOCATION: North of and adjacent to CR 74 and 1/4 mile east of CR
15.
The Chair read the case into the record and asked if anyone in the audience wished to pull Case PZ-1129
from the Consent Agenda. Seeing none, the public portion of the hearing was closed. Chris Serbousek,
applicant, was asked if he wished the case remain on the Consent Agenda and he replied that he did.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning, said he had nothing to add.
Commissioner Holton moved that Case PZ-1129, be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners along

of approval, Commissioner Ehrlich seconded the motion. Motion carried.
