RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR INMATE ELECTRONIC HOME
MONITORING SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - BI INCORPORATED
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for
Inmate Electronic Home Monitoring Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by
and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County
Sheriff's Office, and BI Incorporated, commencing upon full execution, with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment,a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Inmate Electronic Home
Monitoring Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, and BI
Incorporated be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of July, A.D., 2007.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
INMATE ELECTRONIC HOME MONITORING SERVICES
This Amendment is entered into by and between the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY
OF WELD and BI INCORPORATED.
In consideration of the promises contained herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto, desiring to be legally bound, hereby agree to amend Section 2.C. of the
Agreement to read as follows:
"Provider shall be responsible for the determination and collection of Program fees from participants at a rate of
$10.00 per day for In-Home Detention and $12.50 per day for In-Home Detention and Remote Alcohol Testing,
provided that the minimum total payment is $70.00. Such program fees shall not exceed the Cost of Services set
forth in Section 4., below.
New language has been italicized for ease of review.
Capitalized terms used herein, and not otherwise defined, shall have the meaning set forth in the Agreement. All
other terms and conditions of the Agreement, except as expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, by signing below Agency and BI have caused this Amendment to be effective as of the
latest date set forth below.
