RE: Western Dairymen Sidewalk
Dear Mr. Dyer:
The Department of Planning Services has reviewed the proposal / contract from Earth Green dated June
18, 2007 and it appears that the amount of backfill and compacting should be adequate to complete the
sidewalk portion located east of County Road 7.5. It is understood that the disturbed areas will be
seeded and maintained. The Department of Planning Services has also noted that the portion of
sidewalk located west of County Road 7.5 is not installed at this time.

SUBJECT: Site Inspection of the sidewalk at the Western Dairymen
I have conducted a site inspection of the sidewalk at the Western Dairyman subdivision located south of
State Highway 119 just west of Interstate 25.
The sidewalk has been installed along the northern side of the subdivision along State Highway 119 on
the east side of County Road 7.5. The portion located to the west of County Road 7.5 has not been
installed at this time. The soil along the edge needs to be compacted. The disturbed area needs to be
Hydro seeded or sod needs to be placed down. There are areas of soil wash out along the sidewalk due
to drainage. And the sidewalk needs to contact to County Road 7.5 with a curb cut to allow continuation
of the sidewalk to the west.
