RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1490 - ROGER AND
ALICE MONROE / KEVIN AND SUSAN VENDEGNA, CIO NICOLE TREVETHICK
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated January 19, 2005, the Board approved Use by Special
Review Permit#1490 for a Veterinary Hospital in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, for Roger and
Alice Monroe, 1879 Weld County Road 32, Longmont, Colorado 80504, and Keven and Susan
Vendegna, 1975 Weld County Road 32, Longmont, Colorado 80504, on the following described
real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption #1930; being part of
the SE1/4 of Section 17, Township 3 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Roger and Alice Monroe, Kevin and
Susan Vendegna, and Nicole Trevethick,to vacate said Use by Special Review Permit#1490, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#1490 be, and hereby is, vacated.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-1490
March 26, 2007
Roger and Alice Monroe have requested a vacation of Use by Special Review Permit, USR-
1490, for a veterinarian hospital located north of and adjacent to County Road 32 and
approximately 500 feet west of County Road 5.
This permit was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on January 19, 2005 for
Roger and Alice Monroe.
The site is located in part of the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 3 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
The Department of Planning Services, on behalf of the property owners, is recommending this
land use permit to be vacated. The letter requesting vacation of USR-1490 is attached.
