RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND
CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth, and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Cindy Almond be appointed to said board as the
kinship care representative,to replace Theodore Palmisano; that Joseph Bodine be appointed to
said board as the attorney representative, to replace Bill Garcia; and that Gaye Morrison be
appointed to said board as the clinic nurse/health care professional representative, to replace
Jennifer Higgins, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Tony Molocznik be reappointed to said board
as the lay community/accountant representative, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Tony Molocznik to said board, and
to appoint Cindy Almond and Joseph Bodine to said board,with terms to expire December 31,2009,
and to appoint Gaye Morrison to said board, with a term to expire December 31, 2008.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tony Molocznik be, and hereby is, reappointed, and Cindy Almond and
Joseph Bodine, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Families, Youth, and Children Commission,
all with terms to expire December 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Gaye Morrison be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Families, Youth, and Children Commission, with a term to expire December 31,
2008.
