RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, two vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Thomas Gordon and Jerry Weil be appointed
to said board, to replace Pamela Shaddock and Elmer Montoya, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Thomas Gordon and Jerry Weil to said
board, with terms to expire January 31, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Thomas Gordon and Jerry Weil be, and hereby are, appointed to the Area
Agency on Aging, with terms to expire January 31, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 30th day of July, A.D., 2007.
