RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 718 - OWEN AND JOANNE HARRIS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 25th day of April, 1983, considered the request
of Owen and Joanne Harris to place a mobile home, to be used as
a principal dwelling and to be occupied in an A-Agricultural Zone
District, on a parcel of land which is more particularly described
as follows:
Part of the Sz SE4, Section 9 , T1N, R68W
of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the
testimony, finds that said request should be granted subject to
the condition that the applicant apply for and receive a building
permit for the mobile home within thirty (30) days from the date
of approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Owen and
Joanne Harris for permission to place a mobile home to be used as
a principal dwelling on the above described parcel of land, which
was found to be in compliance with the Weld County Zoning Ordi-
nance, Section 43 , be, and hereby is , granted subject to the con-
dition as above listed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
April, A.D. , 1983 .

within thirty (30) days from the date of approval by the Board of County Commissioners.

Gentlemen:
In reference to the mobile home zoning permit
instructions, the reasons for seeking a permit are as
follows:
The type of soil in this area is clay or hentor_ite
r.r1 5 ery unstable. _ "tr to n- }pie tie
area, we are finding that they are having problems with
solid foundation houses.
Also, the attached geological survey maps of the
area show it as a high hazard area.
The above reasons are why we choose to go with a
double-wide mobile home which is suitable to our needs.
We plan for this to be our retirement home and hope to
be a credit to the community. We have been very well
received with our plans, we are happy to report, by
all residents in the area.
