RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Roy Wardell be appointed to said board, to
replace George Shovar, and that MaryEtta Moore be appointed to said board as an additional
member representative.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Roy Wardell and MaryEtta Moore to
said board, with terms to expire January 31, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Roy Wardell and MaryEtta Moore, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Area Agency on Aging, with terms to expire January 31, 2009.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 15th day of October, A.D., 2007.
