RESOLUTION
RE: SUPPORT OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONCERNING THE
GREY MOUNTAIN WATER PROJECT STUDY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, House Bill 1589, which is pending in the Legisla-
ture, would authorize the Colorado Water Conservation Board to
commit and expend from the Colorado Water Conservation Board
Construction Fund the sum of $1 , 400 , 000 for one hundred percent
• funding of a feasibility study of the development of water
resources of the Cache la Poudre River, and
WHEREAS, the Grey Mountain Water Project is located along
the Cache la Poudre River, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado feels that said feasibility study is vital to Weld County
as well as all of Colorado and therefore, desires to declare its
support concerning said feasibility study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that said Board does hereby
declare its support for the Grey Mountain Water Project study.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
March, A.D. , 1981.
