Carlson moved to appoint Commissioner Gene Brantner as Acting Chairman. Commissioner Martin seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated January 9, 1984, and duly published in the La Salle Leader on January 12, 1984, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Timothy and Donna Sharp for a Use By Special Review for an oil and gas services construction yard. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, read this request into the record. Rod Allison, Planning Department representative, advised the Board that the applicant re- quested that this hearing be continued to a date when all five Commissioners would be present. Commissioner Martin moved to continue this Use by Special Review hearing to February 1, 1984, at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner C. Carlson seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
