RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bill Hedburg and John Kruse be reappointed
to said board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Laurie Glendenning be appointed to said board
to replace Kent Lynch, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Bill Hedburg and John Kruse, and
to appoint Laurie Glendenning to said board, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Bill Hedberg and John Kruse be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Extension Advisory Council, with terms to expire February 1, 2010.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Laurie Glendenning be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Extension Advisory Council to replace Kent Lynch, with a term to expire
February 1, 2008.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of October, A.D., 2007.
