RE: DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY/TRS-80 MINI COMPUTER AND ASSOCIATED ITEMS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statue and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Data Processing has recommended that the TRS-80
Mini Computer acquired by Communications be declared surplus property and the
surplus property has been examined by the Director of Finance and Administration,
who concurs that the property is no longer required for the operation of Weld
County government and should be disposed of through sale.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the TRS-80 Mini Computer and associated items hereby
are, declared surplus property in accordance with the Weld County Home Rule
Charter and appropriate State Statute.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Administration
and Purchasing Agent are hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the itemized
surplus property through a sealed bid process.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Administration
is further directed to deposit all proceeds from the sale of the property into
the General Fund of Weld County.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 14thday of October , 1981.

FOR SALE
Weld County, Colorado will receive sealed bids on a TRS-80 Mini-Computer
and associated equipment until Thursday, November 5, 1981 at 9:00 a.m. at
which time said bids will be publicly opened at the office of the Purchasing
Director, Weld County Centennial Building, Greeley, Colorado.
A certified check or cashier's check for 10% of the bid price must accompany
the bid to be used as the first installment for the successful bidder. The
check will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within thirty (30) days after
the award of the bid.
Inspection of the equipment can be made by contacting Weld County Computer
Services at 356-4000, Ext. 380. Interested bidders may obtain a bid form
from the Weld County Purchasing Department, 915-10th Street, Greeley, Colorado or
by telephoning 356-4000, Ext. 222. Further information can be obtained by
contacting the Weld County Computer Services Department at 356-4000, Ext. 380.
The Board of Weld County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or
all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that,
in the opinion of the Board, is to the best interests of the Board and of
the County of Weld, State of Colorado.
