RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO SUPPLEMENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIR TO SIGN-UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Supplemental Lease
Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and the United States Department of Transportation, Federal
Aviation Administration, commencing July 1, 1999, and ending September 30, 2019, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment,a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the Amendment to the Supplemental Lease Agreement between the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
and the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of July, A.D., 2007, nunc pro tunc July 1, 1999.

SUPPLEMENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT
Supplement No.2
To Lease No. DTAFI 1-99-L-00602
Platteville,CO—(CPME)
THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between WELD COUNTY REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS CENTER hereinafter called the Lessor, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for and on
behalf of THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION,
hereinafter called the Government:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend the above Lease DTFA11-99-L-00602 formerly Lease DTAF11-99-L-17734.
NOW THEREFORE, these parties for the considerations hereinafter mentioned covenant and agree that the said Lease is
amended, as follows:
Article 14, TERM OF LEASE is amended with the change of paragraph 14.01, to read as follows:
14.01
This Lease shall be effective for one year commencing on July 1, 1999 and shall be automatically renewable on an annual
basis, unless sooner terminated as specified in Article 14, Paragraph 14.02. The Government's option shall be deemed
exercised and the lease renewed each year for one (1)year PROVIDED, that no renewal thereof shall extend the period of
occupancy of the premises beyond the 30`"day of September 2019.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the said lease shall remain in force and effect, except as amended
hereinabove, shall be and remain the same.
