HomeMy WebLinkAbout841116.tiff RESOLUTION RE: SURPLUS VEHICLE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the equipment service manager has advised the Board of County Commissioners that two patrol vehicles "unit numbers 6504142 and 6504144 " have been involved in accidents and determined to be irreparable, and WHEREAS, the equipment service manager has recommended that the above two vehicle be removed from the asset list and that parts be used on other patrol vehicles as appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the patrol vehicles units 6504142 and 6504144 be declared surplus and removed from the asset list. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the management of the motor pool is authorized to utilize the parts of vehicles on other vehicles to the maximum extent possible and to dispose of the remainder of the vehicle as salvage as appropriate. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of August A.D. , 1984 . Surplus Sheriff Cars Two Sheriff Chevrolet patrol cars units # 6504142 and 6504144 have been involved in accidents and have been determined to be non repairable . Request that they be removed from the asset list . However parts are usable on other current patrol cars and a determination by the using department for final disposal of these units should be made.
