Resolution Action of the Board at Show Cause Hearing, PCSC25-0014, Concerning Permit for Home Occupation Class II, ZPHB16-0015— Santos Vega and Luz Yadira Vega Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and Whereas, on December 10, 2025, a Probable Cause Hearing was held before the Board to consider setting a Show Cause Hearing to determine whether or not the current owners, Santos Vega and Luz Yadira Vega, 909 East 16th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, are in compliance with certain Permit Conditions contained in Zoning Permit for Home Occupation Class II, ZPHB16-0015, on property being further described as follows: Lot 6 of the Union Colony Lands within the SW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 9, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado Whereas, at said hearing the Board determined there was sufficient probable cause to schedule a Show Cause Hearing on January 7, 2026, to consider whether or not said Zoning Permit for Home Occupation Class II, ZPHB16-0015, should be revoked for failure to comply with certain Permit Conditions, as follows: A.8: On parcels of land less than eighty (80) acres, the number of commercial vehicles is limited to two (2) such vehicles with two (2) rear axles. A.9: No exterior storage of materials, goods, supplies or equipment related to the business is permitted. A.13: An Access Permit has been approved for the access to the site (AP17-00003). Whereas, at said Show Cause hearing, the permittees were not present, and Whereas, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present, and the recommendation of Planning staff for a continuance, and having been fully informed, finds that the matter should be continued to January 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.,.to ensure the permittees are present. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to January 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CC'.PL(DE/MN/DR/wiwa R),cA(w 9 2026-0051 A s R(S6), A?PL.
