RE: APPROVAL OF APPOINTMENTS TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , several vacancies currently exist on the Placement
Alternatives Commission due to the resignations of Father Anthony
Bliss, Chris Matson, Jan Staudinger, Donna Wright, Lee Steele and
Mimi Marshall , and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board of County
Commissioners that the following persons be appointed to serve on
said Commission:

Sandra Neb Citizen Representative
Dixie Lee Kotz Citizen Representative
Cris Arellano Probation Department
Tedi Guerrero Human Resources
WHEREAS , the Board deems it advisable to approve the
appointment of the hereinabove named persons to the Placement
Alternatives Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hereinabove named
persons be, and hereby are, appointed to serve on the Placement
Alternatives Commission.

and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of
October, A.D. , 1984 .

RE: PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
Dear Mr. Carlson:
As Chairperson of the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission I am
recommending the following people for appointment to the Commission.
Father Anthony Bliss, representing Partners, Inc. , has resigned due to a change
in job assignment. Ms. Linda Montoya is being recommended as his replacement.
Chris Matson, representing law enforcement, has resigned due to a change in
employment. Karl Harvey, Chief of the LaSalle Police Department, is being
recommended as his replacement.
Jan Staudinger, representing Our House, Inc. , has resigned due to a change in
employment. The Our House facilities closed, therefore, no replacement is
being recommended. There are currently no RCCF's located in Weld County.
Donna Wright, citizen representative, has resigned due to moving out of state.
In order to maintain a 50% private sector representation, I am recommending
the appointment of Sandra Neb, Fort Lupton, and Dixie Lee Kotz, Roggen , as
new citizen representatives.
Lee Steele, representing the Probation Department, has resigned due to a change
in job assignment. Cris Arellano, Probation Department, is being recommended
as his replacement.
Mimi Marshall , Human Resources , has resigned due to a change in employment. Tedi
Guerrero, Human Resources, is being recommended as her replacement.
