HomeMy WebLinkAbout830143.tiff AR19509v5 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL TO VACATE A PORTION OF 27TH STREET, LOCATED IN SECTION 17 , TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 65 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has received a petition for road vacation from Economy Lumber and Hardware, Inc. concerning a portion of 27th Street, a copy of said petition being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, said portion of 27th Street is located in Arlington Gardens, Section 17 , Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado being more particularly described as follows: That portion of 27th Street located between Lot 8 and Lot 9 of Arlington Gardens running from the Northwest corner of Lot 8 and the Southwest corner of Lot 9 East to the inter- section of the Union Pacific railway company right-of-way, and the Southeast corner of Lot 9 and the Northeast corner of Lot 8 , being a roan 50 feet in width. WHEREAS , after study and review of this matter, the Board desires to vacate that portion of 27th Street, located in Sec- tion 17 , Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to authorize the Chair- man of the Board to sign a Quit Claim Deed from Weld County, Colo- rado to Economy Lumber and Hardware, Inc. , present owners of each side of said described portion of 27th Street, a copy of said Quit Claim Deed being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
