RE: CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP ON 1974 HOMETTE
MOBILE HOME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a 1974 Homette Mobile Home, Title No. 0359482H, was
transferred to Weld County by the Weld County Treasurer under a
Certificate of Ownership, a copy of which is attached, and
WHEREAS, such Certificate of Ownership was issued pursuant
to a tax sale at public auction, and
WHEREAS, it has subsequently been discovered that because
of failure of proper notification of such public auction to a
lien holder that such sale for taxes was null and void, and
WHEREAS , such lien holder has subsequently discovered that
the mobile home has been placed for sale for taxes and has now
tendered the amount of over-due taxes and costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Com-
missioners hereby voids such Certificate of Ownership, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, on
such 1974 Homette Mobile Home, Title No. 0359482H.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
February, A.D. , 1981.
