Dike between Weld County sand pit and our pit should be 49__I repaired and strenghtened to hold back the water in the enlarged I ;)-- pit, moreover, the walking space between the fence and our pit has been washed awayx and should be restored. 2. Dike at the East end of our pit has been weakened and damaged. The dike should be repaired. Q` I. Our pit is full of debris and trash. How much trash is at the bottom is unknown. It is my opinion there is much more than is desirable; and the depth od the pit should be restored to at least I3 feet. 4. The bank of our property, along the St Vrain River, along with the fence has been washed away. Bank should be restored and the fence replaced . 5. The second dike at the East end of our pit has been washed away along with the fence. The dike should be restored and the fence replaced. 6. We lost 120 cotton wood trees, 4-6 feet high. We would like to have them replaced . 7. We are sure of fish loss , but this will be calculated later. Future Problems The removal of gravel along the St. Vrain River, on your property, is creating a weakness in the river bank; it will become aserious flood possibility to my safty and property. On the south side of your gravel pits and along the fence, water frequently runs into a channel that empties into your gravel pit, and naturally overflows into our pit.
