RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Regional Communications Advisory Board,and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ricky Brandt be appointed to said board as the
Police Chief representing a cost-sharing Intergovernmental Agreement municipality, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that James Burack,Ron Grannis,and Gary Barbour
be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ricky Brandt, and to reappoint James
Burack, Ron Grannis, and Gary Barbour to said board, all with terms to expire December 31, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ricky Brandt be, and hereby is, appointed, and that James Burack, Ron
Grannis, and Gary Barbour be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Regional Communications
Advisory Board, all with terms to expire December 31, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of December, A.D., 2008.
