RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1625 FOR
AGRICULTURAL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN
PERFORMING AGRICULTURAL, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, OR HORTICULTURAL
SERVICES ON A FEE OR CONTRACT BASIS, INCLUDING: A LIVESTOCK
CONFINEMENT OPERATION FOR A 3,000-HEAD DAIRY, AND MULTIPLE
SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNITS PER LOT OTHER THAN THOSE PERMITTED
UNDER SECTION 23-3-20.A, IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT-AURORA
DAIRY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 20th day of
February, 2008, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Aurora Dairy Corporation, 1401 Walnut, Suite 500, Boulder, Colorado 80302,for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1625 for Agricultural Service
Establishments primarily engaged in performing agricultural, animal husbandry, or horticultural
services on a fee or contract basis, including: a Livestock Confinement Operation fora 3,000-head
Dairy, and multiple single-family dwelling units per lot other than those permitted under
Section 23-3-20.A, in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described real estate,
to-wit:
Part of the N1/2 of Section 29, Township 3 North,
Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,at said hearing on February 20,2008,at the request of the applicant,the Board
deemed it advisable to continue said matter to March 19,2008, due to the change in representation
of the applicant, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on March 19, 2008,the Board deemed it advisable to continue
said matter to April 2, 2008, to allow the matter to be considered by a full quorum of the Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to April 2, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to April 2, 2008,
at 10:00 a.m.
