SUBJECT: 2008 Leased Motorgrader Bid, B0800088
The Public Works Department recommends the low bid from Wagner Equipment be accepted for a
36-month lease of two Caterpillar model 160M AWD motor graders for the Bridge Division. The
monthly cost per machine is $2,050; Option F is $10 per machine per month; Option G is $40 per
machine per month for a total monthly cost of$4,200.00. The cost is based on 1500 hours annual
usage.
The Public Works Department recommends that the low bid from Colorado Machinery for the
leasing of ten motor graders(5 all wheel drive and 5 rear wheel drive)be accepted. The breakdown
is as follows:
5 John Deere Model 770D at a cost of$1,550/month with Option C ($15); Option D ($68) and
Option F (no charge)- $1,633 per month per machine. The cost is based on 2000 hrs annual usage.
5 John Deere Model 770D at a cost of$1,550/month with Option C($15); Option D($68);Option E
($336.00 AWD); and Option F (no charge) - $1,969 per month per machine. The cost is based on
2000 hrs annual usage.
