In conformance with the rules and regulations established by Weld County, the attached notice is
being sent to you in order to inform you of the Weld County 122 Reclamation Permit application
planning commission hearing for the Sheep Draw site on November 4`h at 1:30pm. The meeting
will be held at 918 10 Street, Greeley, CO.
• Weld County has applied to mine the Sheep Draw site for sand and gravel to be used for County
road projects. The final land use of the site will be developed water storage. The site will be
mined intermittently on an as-needed basis with a proposed date of completion of 2025. The
proposed mining operation is located west of the Town of Greeley in Weld County, Colorado in
Section 33, Township 6 North, Range 66 West, Sixth P.M.
Should you wish to obtain additional information regarding the project, you may contact
Jennifer Lee of our office at 303-452-6611. A copy of the application is also on file at the Weld
County Clerk's office located at 1402 N. 17th Ave. Greeley, CO 80631.
