RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN -AIMS COMMUNITY COLLEGE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Agreement for
Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Human Services, and Aims
Community College,commencing June 30, 2008, and ending May 31, 2009,with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment,a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the Agreement for Services between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Department of Human Services, and Aims Community College be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 1st day of December, A.D., 2008, nunc pro tunc June 30, 2008.

COLORADO RE: Amendment to the Agreement for ervices between the Weld
County Department of Human Services and Aims
Community College
Enclosed for Board approval is an Amendment to the Agreement for Services between the
Weld County Department of Human Services and Aims Community College. The original
Aims Agreement was presented and approved at the September 22,2008,Board meeting. This
Amendment was presented at the Board's November 24, 2008, Work Session.
This Amendment is to adjust the fee schedule to respond to the new fees for the new school
year and is as follows:
a. Credit Hour In-District $84.50/credit hour
b. Credit Hour Out-of-District $111.50/credit hour
c. Credit Hour Out-of-State $383.50/credit hour
d. Spiral ERS $15.00/each
e. All About ITERS/AIl About ECERS $50.00/each
This Agreement is from June 30, 2008 through May 31, 2009

AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES
BETWEEN THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT
OF HUMAN SERVICES AND AIMS COMMUNITY COLLEGE
This AMENDMENT to Agreement for Services, made and entered into the day of October 2008, by
and between the Board of County Commissioners,on behalf of the Weld County Department of Human
Services, herein referred to as"Human Services"and "Aims Community College", hereinafter referred to
as the "Contractor."
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, Human Services and Contractor entered into an Agreement for Services(Contract
Number FY08-CC-03) on June 30, 2008,to provide Environmental Rating Scale training session to assist
Human Services in promoting quality child care to providers who accept eligible Human Services clients.
WHEREAS, the fee schedule needs to be adjusted to reflect the fees for the new school year.
WHEREAS, Human Services desires to adjust its fees schedule to respond to the new fees to assist
with promoting quality child care to providers.
NOW THERFORE, in consideration of the premises,the parties hereto covenant and agree as
follows:
1. Exhibit B,Payment Schedule, Item 2, Fee Schedule, shall be amended as follows:
a. Credit Hour In-District $84.50/credit hr.
b. Credit Hour Out-of-District $111.50/credit hr.
c. Credit Hour Out-of-State $383.50/credit hr.
d. Spiral ERS $15.00/ea
e. All About ITERS/All About ECERS $50.00/ea
2. This Amendment, together with the original Agreement for Services constitutes the entire
understanding among the parties with respect to subject matter hereof,and may not be changed or
modified except as stated in the Agreement for Services.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties hereto have duly executed the Agreement as of the day,month,and year
first above written.
