I am writing this email as a plea for financial help. We have had one of the worst medical years in our young lives (ages 24 & 25) and we are trying to make ends meet. My wife and I have been blessed with two children Jeremiah 18mon and Hannah 4wks and almost 7yrs of marriage. With Hannah we have had some interesting challenges. As you can see in the spreadsheet below in(Blue{we had made three trips to NCMC only to be sent home because Elizabeth was not in "active" labor. Well, on July 29`" Elizabeth woke up a little after 7:00 am in active labor and by 7:25 I had the scary privilege of delivering my very own baby girl. We had no time to make it to the hospital this time. As a result we needed to call the paramedics for medical attention and transportation to NCMC. This is so you know we were not trying the abuse the services of our county. As you can see at the bottom of this spreadsheet we have had to juggle $10,000+ of medical bills this year, and that doesn't count our two paramedic bills. Blue Cross Blue Shield told us that Weld County Paramedics is an Out-of- Network provider and they will only help us at policy minimums. We by no means do we make great money ($47,500 combined), but we are diligent to steward our finances as best we can. We had made payment arrangements where we could, but at this point we can not make ends meet. It's getting harder and winter bills are still to come. Whatever Blue Cross Blue Shield sends us we will send to you promptly. Please let me know if you need any additional information from our family. My plea is that you would be willing to forgive whatever the remainder may be.
