RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL
DEVICES AT VARIOUS COUNTY ROAD INTERSECTIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the Board
that Stop signs be installed at various County Road intersections, as described in Exhibit A, to
ensure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to continue the matter for
approximately two weeks, to September 29, 2008, in order to discuss the various intersections
within a work session.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above mentioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
September 29, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 15th day of September, A.D., 2008.
