RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR HOTEL AND
RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE FROM ALFRED AND CAROLINE LOPEZ, DBA EL
VAQUERO, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,Alfred and Caroline Lopez, dba El Vaquero, presented to the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,an application for the renewal of a Hotel and Restaurant
Liquor License, for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors, and
WHEREAS, on December 29, 2008, the Board considered the renewal application, and
deemed it advisable to continue the matter to January 12, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., in order to research
the concerns presented by the Department of Public Health and Environment regarding the food
service license.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the application for the renewal of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License
from Alfred and Caroline Lopez, dba El Vaquero, be,and hereby is, continued to January 12, 2009,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 29th day of December, A.D., 2008.
