Subject: Disposal of Equipment
Per our conversation this A .M. it is recommended that the following
equipment be placed in an early auction . I feel that the equipment
may bring a better price at the beginning of the 1980 construction
season than it would if sold at or near the end of the season .
ASSET # DESCRIPTION
6406010 1964 Austin Western Grader S#T5662268
6406030 1962 Caterpillar Grader S# 70D2105
6405245 1970 Kenworth Tandem Dump Truck S# 118075
New equipment has been ordered to replace the above equipment as
scheduled this year. These three units are deadlined in need of
repairs that will not be done .
The following equipment has been determined not suitable to the
needs of Weld County. Conversation with Jim King reveals that it
is too large and powerful for pile driving.
6406281 1200 CFM Air Compressor
Air Powered Pile Driver
Additionally in the equipment inventory are two grader mounted
elevating loaders that are essentially obsolete .
6409509 Domor
6409561 Domor 2.
Two other graders are being replaced this year .
6406008 1965 Caterpillar Grader S# 99E13958
6406111 1965 Caterpillar Grader S# 99E13751
