I never even thought about that either since this is a training app. and not for salaries. We didn't require them to sign off on it from a VALE Board perspective. At the time I applied for this grant, I wasn't aware that the Commissioners had to approve my applying first! Also at the time, I was on a time restraint (if I remember correctly I only had a day or two, to apply by the deadline) so I didn't consult my supervisor on the proper procedure for applying for grants. I didn't dot my I ' s or cross my T's (unwittingly) . My Commander (Dave Tuttle) now has to go before the Commissioners, on my behalf, to get the VALE training scholarship approved. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, but could you possibly get me a copy of my original application I gave to you? This will assist in my plight to do this correctly and be able to attend the training.
