WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees for the Town. of Lochbuie, after considering the request of the Police Department, relating to all of the matters concerning providing the ambulance service to the Town of Lochbuie , have determined that the fastest response time, which is often the most critical component of the response by the ambulance , is much faster from the Platte Valley Ambulance Service located in Brighton , Colorado; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has determined to request from the County of Weld dispatching police and other emergency dispatch service , that such Platte Valley Ambulance Service be dispatched to the Town of Lochbuie, with all calls originating from said Town; and, WHEREAS , the Board of Trustees wants it understood, that the service provided by the Fort Lupton Ambulance Service is of a superior quality , and that this resolution in no way reflects on the service they provided in the past , and request that secondary dispatch, if the need arise, come from Fort Lupton; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees for the Town of Lochbuie, that the Weld County Dispatching Service, dispatch ambulances from the Platte Valley Ambulance 1330723 2 ,�_ -rr(-z-6).. I/// �'� $U (brA` "*. .,,.nalia► • r. • 1z RESOLUTION 83R -- 1 .1 1983 WHEREAS the County of Weld, state of Colorado, has proposed setting up a Special Improvement District, for the providing of ambulance services to various parts of Weld County, including the corporate limits of the Town of Lochbuie, Colorado; and WHEREAS, the governing body of the Town of Lochbuie has considered the benefits of said proposed district and has compared the same with the present facilities and services provided; and, WHEREAS, the governing body of the Town of Lochbuie has determined that the present service, known as Platte Valley Ambulance Service, located in Brighton, Adams County, Colorado; provides a superior service from the standpoint of response time, due to the much closer distance of said service from the proposed service to be located in Fort Lupton, Colorado; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the governing body of the Town of Lochbuie, that the Town has determined not to be included within this special district proposed by the County Commissions of the County of Weld, and hereby requests that the corporate limits of the Town of Lochbuie be removed from the special district boundaries; and , , , -77z 4/// e/6 -3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be certified to the County Commissioners of the County Weld.
