RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND CHILDREN'S
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth, and Children's Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gaye Morrison be reappointed to said board
as the nurse/health care provider representative, and that Carla Silva be reappointed to said board
as the probation representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Gaye Morrison and Carla Silva to
said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Gaye Morrison and Carla Silva be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Families, Youth, and Children's Commission, with terms to expire December 31, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of December, A.D., 2008.
